Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 cup of your favorite granola

1 cup fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

1 banana

1 apple

1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (optional, for extra nutrition)

1 bunch of fresh mint leaves

Mixing bowls

In a mixing bowl, stir in honey or maple syrup with the yogurt.
Wash and pat dry the berries. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the banana and dice the apple into small pieces.
In serving glasses or bowls, start with a layer of yogurt.
Add a layer of granola on top of the yogurt.
Follow with a layer of fruit (berries, banana, apple).
If using, sprinkle chia seeds or flax seeds on top of the fruit.
Continue layering yogurt, granola, and fruit until the glasses or bowls are filled. You can end with a layer of fruit and a sprinkle of granola.
Add a fresh mint leaf on top for a decorative touch.

You can serve the parfaits right away or chill them in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld and the parfaits cool.
